The Watermans Arms. Mentioned in the Pubs of the River Thames, as possibly the oldest pub in Richmond, and found in Water Lane.
Described in the following glowing terms
"the house next to the pub was a brothel at a time when Water Lane was considered one of the most undesirable parts of town."
I am sure its not today, but the story adds colour to Richmond that is not normally expected..
